Dear Silver Hawk Parent,

On behalf of the Silver Hawk Booster Club Coordinating Board, I would like to thank you for taking the time to consider joining the Booster Club.  Our mission is to serve all Lincoln Southwest parents and students.  We want to stimulate interest in all activities, performing arts & athletics for both students & parents. Our involvement includes supporting and assisting in activities, providing financial support and promoting interest in the community itself where possible.

This past year, we are proud to have been part of supporting the Performing Arts, Athletics and a number of activities. These projects ranged from a Light Board for the Silver Hawk Theatre to HUDL Computer Equipment for Athletics to new Oven Equipment for the Consumer Sciences Department. We’ve also installed Digital Trophy Cases at both the Gym & Theater Entrances. We also recently contributed $30,000 recently to the West Wing Capital Improvements Campaign.  We also distributed cash monies directly to the Athletics and Performing Arts Departments, as well as donating to the Adopt-A-Hawk program, which is perhaps the most important way in which we live up to our mission statement.

While donating to the Boosters is one way in which you can support your Son and/or Daughter’s activities, getting involved with that activity is just as, if not more, important.  Virtually every activity has numerous ways for parents to give of their time and, in some case, their talents.  As you can see on this form, there are also a number of ways in which to get involved with the Silver Hawk Boosters.  We know that everyone’s time is limited…how much to give is up to you and is always appreciated.

On a personal note, getting involved with the Silver Hawk Boosters is one of the most rewarding things I have ever done.  In addition to representing our kids interest, I have made a bunch of friends and have grown to care about all of the activities at Lincoln Southwest.  It has made me a more well-rounded person and a better parent and supporter for it.

If you have any questions, you can email me at  We look forward to hearing from you and hope that you will get involved in the upcoming 2018-2019 School Year.

Most Sincerely,

Jim Loos,

Silver Hawk Booster Club Coordinating Board, President
